AN INDEPENDENT'S VIEW OF IMPEACHMENT

As a lifelong (over 40 years of voting) independent, I am disappointed in the corrupt system of non-democracy I have experienced, battling vested interests, self-serving politicians and the corporatization/technologization of the touch screen /fake voting/fake tabulating machines or proprietary 'black boxes' as they are often called. We are constantly faced with a battle against evil in a country touted as the best in the world. Give us all a break: If that were true, I'd take antidepressants until I killed 30 people and then myself. Just kidding...but it describes the frustration with the 'party line' feeding schedule we unsuccessfully avoid each day!

I favor no party, find that kind of organization to be undemocratic and corrupt at it's very money raising core, and only look at individuals for what they have supported and continue to support.

I am currently looking at Ron Paul , (who so obviously and based on polls, apparently won the first debates...) and others in Congress (like Dennis Kucinich and Tim Walz) because of what they have supported, etc. I also enjoy the Senate Chaplain, Barry C. Black, as he tries to remind those who need reminding, that there is something greater and (need we say) better that might be the best idea yet for creating something that works for His creation. Gotta love him!

This is definitely not intended as an endorsement in any case, but only a as reference to Congressional workers as it relates to what I was taught America was all about...and was told repeatedly why America is worth fighting for. Still clear in my mind and a distant memory in others.

I am including this information on my website for consideration and educational value. Consider being educated. "o)

DICK CHENEY IMPEACHED TODAY!!

! Media Mafia censors Congressman Kucinich's HR 333

"After a series of delays, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), a candidate for president in 2008, announced a series of charges against Vice President Dick Cheney in Washington, DC, late in the day. Kucinich alleged that the Vice President had committed a series of impeachable offenses, and he was therefore introducing Articles of Impeachment against Cheney in the Congress today. Kucinich started off by reading the opening words of the Declaration of Independence, 'Whenever any government official becomes destructive of the founding purposes, that official must be held accountable.' Kucinich excoriated the Vice President who he called 'a driving force for taking us into war against Iraq under false pretenses, and is once again rattling sabers of war against Iran, with the same intent to drive America into war, again based on false pretenses.' The Ohio Congressman, who is running for president for the second time, noted three charges in his Articles of Impeachment, which were submitted as House Resolution 333. But he added, 'It is very important that we start with Mr. Cheney because if we were to start with the President, Mr. Cheney would then become president. He also noted, 'We'd have to go through the constitutional agony of impeaching two presidents consecutively.'"
